# Developer's guide

This section is for people changing croak's code or documentation. For using
croak in a research workflow, start with the [introduction](../introduction/index.md)
or [user guide](../user_guide/index.md). The scientific derivations remain in the
user guide so that understanding a retrieval does not require following the
package's internal organisation.
