# Glossary and references

The glossary defines the terms and symbols used throughout the manual, from the
trace error and the interactions to the dispersive slab, `R_omega` and the
B-spline phase basis.
The references list the two papers describing croak's models and validation and
the published work its algorithms and uncertainty estimators build on.
